Lexus is a Japanese car brand that was created in 1989. The company was founded by Eiji Toyoda. Lexus manufacture a range of luxury sedans, coupes, sports cars, hatches, and SUVs in Japan and factories around the world. They’re best known for being affordable luxury vehicles made by Toyota. Lexus headquarters are currently in Nagoya, Japan. Lexus is Rekusasu or レクサス in Japanese.
Lexus Company Timeline – History
1989 – Eiji Toyoda creates Lexus as the luxury division of the Toyota motor company. Around the same time other Japanese car makers also created luxury divisions with Nissan creating Infiniti and Honda creating Acura.
