The Ferrari S.p.A. company is an Italian car maker that was founded in 1929 by Enzo Ferrari, originally called Scuderia Ferrari. Ferrari's first interest was racing cars and didn't start making street legal vehicles until 1947. Ferrari is owned by the Italian Fiat Group company which also owns Maserati and Alfa Romeo.
